CYBER OPERATIONAL CHANGEWhen Control Environments Shift
Cyber risk increases when the operating context changes.
Cyber controls are rarely static. They are affected by restructuring, supplier change, regulatory pressure, remediation activity, system migration, TSA exit, cloud adoption and rapid growth. These moments can alter ownership, tooling, escalation routes, evidence, reporting lines and decision rights. Controls may still appear to exist, while the operating conditions that make them dependable have changed. What once worked in a stable environment may become unreliable when responsibilities, systems and dependencies shift. The risk is not simply that a control is missing. It is that resilience has quietly decayed while the control environment still appears intact. |

AI can be deployed quickly. Operating readiness takes longer.

What looks like delivery success can still create friction if accountabilities, handovers, organisation structure, processes and procedures, escalation routes and controls are not evolving together. The risk is not simply that transformation is delayed. It is that the organisation reaches the new model without the operating integrity needed to make it perform reliably. |
